Page 2 of 2 In was recently released in a UK report, that many of the top designers of make-up and clothing are receiving an “F” when discussing their efforts in the latest “go green” campaigns. It seems that these designers are adding to the environmental issues that are plaguing many. For some people, these environmental issues do not cause much concern, however, for most, this is quite alarming.
If you take notice, many top designers are using famous celebrities to
advertise their products. Obviously, the more popular the celebrity,
the more popular the product may become. This should cause some
concern to these celebrities because for many, the products they are
helping to promote are not exactly as eco-friendly as the public would
hope or expect them to be. The report published by the UK stated that
this could be damaging to some of the reputations of these
celebrities.
It was reported that many designers and make-up manufactures were given
grades of C-F for their efforts in doing their part to save the
environment. It seems that many of their products contain toxic
chemicals and many companies are using raw materials that can be
harmful to the environment. Many consumers are becoming interested in
showing their support for the “go green” campaign versus just looking
good and not taking into consideration how these products are made. Do
your part and research your favorite designer to see if they are living
up to the “go green” standards. For more information on this article,
