It may seem far away, but it is closer than you think. Mark your calendars everyone, Earth Day is set for April 22, 2008. Earth Day is day set aside each year to celebrate earth and to educate people on environmental awareness. Check out a website, www.earthday.net , where you can read all about environmental protection and the different events and programs they have planned to celebrate this year’s Earth Day. You too can participate in these events. The Earth Day Network can provide you with ideas that your school, community, or just you yourself can get involved in to help make this upcoming Earth Day one of the best and most influential.
