It may sound a bit peculiar, but by donating your turkey fat, you could be helping to save the environment from global warming.  Thanksgiving is a day to give thanks so why not show out appreciation and donate our turkey fat to bio-diesel industries.  These bio-diesel industries are taking the donated turkey fat and reusing it to produce bio-diesel fuel.  By using bio-diesel fuel, we are helping to save the environment from pollution.  


The city of Plano, Texas, was the first city to start donating.  Surrounding cities should join in with Plano and donate their left over turkey fat.  The first bio-diesel fuel industry was started in Plano, Texas.  Residents there are quite dedicated to saving our planet and are encouraging others to do the same.  Join Plano, Texas in making a statement, donate turkey fat and save the air we breathe.  For more information on this article, please refer to www.ecofriend.org.
