Excuses, Excuses…
Thursday, 01 November 2007
Most Americans are fully aware of the ongoing problems within our environment.  Although everyone is taking about how they want to “go green” and how important it is to do so,  I ask myself the question of how many of those people are really doing so.  It seems that most look at “going green” like they would when they talk about going on a diet or doing something they know is necessary, but do not really feel like doing.  When we talk about “going green” we should look at it like we would when we talk about planning a vacation or doing something we really enjoy.  It should not be looked upon as a chore or a duty that has been put on us; rather you should think of it as your small contribution to the environment.

Green Living
Thursday, 01 November 2007
There are several ways that a person can incorporate “green” into their everyday living.  For starters, think about ways you can go green in your home.  When purchasing paper products, such as paper towels, napkins, or bathroom tissues, make sure to purchase recyclable paper products.  You may even want to try purchasing cloth napkins, instead of the normal paper napkins that most people use.  It is usually easier for consumers to purchase paper plates so there is no clean up and no mess after eating. Using paper plates however is not the “green” way to go, instead, try using basic dishware when eating.  It may take an extra few minutes to clean up, but you will feel better about yourself knowing you are doing your part to help keep the environment clean.
